Originally from Val Caron, Ontario, Kareem attended Laurentian University and graduated with a bachelor degree in Éducation physique et santé in 2007. After graduation, he completed his education at the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences where he obtained his Diploma of Chiropody in 2011.
Kareem believes in the importance of professional development and has therefore completed courses pertaining to diabetic foot care, surgical skills and foot manipulation techniques.
Healthy feet are important to help maintain an active lifestyle. Kareem is committed to providing safe, effective and ethical health care to his patients. He provides services to people of all ages, all levels of wellness and abilities to help them get back to their active lives pain free as soon as possible.
Furthermore, Kareem is able to provide services in fluent French which is an asset to the bilingual community.
Kareem is a member of the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine, The Ontario Society of Chiropodist. In addition, Kareem is member in good standing with the College Of Chiropodists of Ontario.
On a personal note, Kareem is a proud father to two beautiful young children. He also believes that staying active is important to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Kareem enjoys many sports such as squash and golf.
Sylvie, our office manager, is also from the Greater Val Caron area. Having completed her bachelor’s degree at Laurentian University, she is able to provide services in fluent French. She has a background in education and she believes in the importance of helping patients better prepare and make informed decisions regarding their overall health.
Sylvie greets our patients with professionalism and assists them in booking routine and follow-up appointments. She takes pride in making sure that each patient is completely happy with their visit. She also ensures that the clinic is running efficiently.
During her personal time, Sylvie enjoys the great outdoors and travelling. She is a mother of two adorable children and has strong family values.
What to bring and how to prepare for your first visit:
Check with your health plan-benefits for coverage information
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to fill out new patients forms
A physician/specialist referral is not needed to become a patient
Remove any nail polish from your toenails
Bring an updated list of all your current medications
Bring any Xray reports and related reports from your Doctor
Bring shoes worn most often: work, exercise & indoors
Payment options
Our fees are determined by the Ontario Society of Chiropodists and Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine.
Payment is due upon rendered service.
We accept cash, debit, Visa, and MasterCard.
Extended Health Insurance Coverage
Our services are not covered by O.H.I.P. However, many extended health insurance plans cover Chiropody services and products (custom orthotics and custom footwear).
Please contact our office for the information required to process claims. Our staff will gladly assist you.
